I find the word "bound" to be interesting because of its diversity of meanings. It can mean "connected to" (friends bound together), "trapped by" (wrists bound by ropes), "fated" (bound to save the world), or "jump" (leap tall buildings in a single bound).
There are even more uses for it than that, too. Just consult your local dictionary. The point is that this one word not only has multiple meanings, but very different ones. As with any word, be careful when you use it. Make sure that it can be used for the meaning you intend, and also make sure it doesn't have any other potential meanings which may make your words awkward.

- I am a writer. A writer is one who writes. By the same logic, I am also a thinker, an observer, and a puzzle solver. I am a graduate from the State University of New York at Cortland with a degree in Professional Writing. The idea of the program is that one studies all three aspects of writing as a whole: Creative Writing, Technical Writing, and Rhetoric. The knowledge I have gained in those subjects is put to use in every aspect of my life. The worst thing a person can be is boring. I am most interested in people who can pique my interests. An example is people who can correctly use the word 'pique'.
